Design Professor Hoppe 54 Ft Fast Ferry


This ferry is based on fully asymmetrical deep-V-planing demi-hulls, bow inserts and a ventilated wave spoiler for rough water operations. The seaworthiness is proven and the ferry is very fuel efficient in high speed operations. In addition to that it is hydrofoil assisted with a tandem foil system in which the rear foil attack angle can be adjusted by the helms man via an oil-hydraulic system.

This vessel is designed to function as a fuel efficient high speed passenger ferry in rough seas. It can be jet powered or surface drives.

The speed can reach up to 50kn depending on the engines installed.
